Frequently asked questions
Can the sheet update automatically when new comments arrive?
No. The export is a one-time copy. Export again and re-import to get newer comments.
Will emoji and non-English comments import correctly?
Yes. The CSV is UTF-8, which Google Sheets reads directly.
Why do some comments start with an apostrophe?
Comments that begin with =, +, - or @ get a leading apostrophe so spreadsheets treat them as text instead of running them as formulas.
How many comments can I bring into Sheets?
Up to 5,000 per export.
