Platform Status
Health probe: each platform's video-info lookup is tested against a known public URL. A passing check means the lookup works; a full download can still fail. Platforms marked "Switched off" are disabled on the site; the ones that work end to end are listed in the footer.

Each platform is probed by fetching video info (not a full download) for a public URL listed in
services/platform_status.py.
Results refresh in a background thread when they are more than 15 minutes old. A red Failing status usually means the platform is blocking our server — try again later.
